The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), together with Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support Co., Ltd. and Tech Japan Co., Ltd. as secretariat, will hold a seminar on the recruitment and utilization of highly skilled Indian engineers in the Keihanshin area as outlined below.
This seminar is designed for companies that are “interested but still lack a concrete understanding” of hiring Indian talent. It will focus on the Japanese government’s latest policies on Indian talent recruitment, strategies for successful hiring by regional companies, and common challenges in the process.
■ About the India-Japan Talent Bridge (IJTB) Program
The Japanese government has announced a policy goal of facilitating the exchange of 50,000 professionals between Japan and India over the next five years.
The India-Japan Talent Bridge program aims to connect highly skilled students from top Indian universities with Japanese companies.

In this inaugural year, several “India Awareness Tours” were conducted, enabling Japanese companies to visit Indian universities and engage with top-tier students interested in working in Japan.
This Kyushu edition of the seminar will provide practical insights into recruiting and utilizing Indian talent, sharing first-year achievements, the latest developments in India, and real hiring cases to support companies in the Kyushu region considering future recruitment activities.
