We are pleased to announce a special collaborative art exhibition, Threaded Layers, featuring contemporary artists from India and Japan, proudly supported by the Japan-India Associationof Hiroshima.

 

In this exhibition, Indian contemporary artist Venkat Gaddam and Japanese contemporary artist Hiroko Takayama, who also serves as Vice President of the Association, present their unique artistic perspectives, exploring themes of culture, memory, and human connection.

 

In addition to the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a collaborative live painting performance and cultural exchange activities, offering a rare occasion where the artistic worlds of Japan and India come together.

Threaded Layers is an exhibition born from the artistic dialogue between two contemporary artists from India and Japan. Their works reflect on beauty, identity, memory, and the invisible threads that connect people beyond borders.
